It's June 29 now. So where's the Stardust download? How can Sony screw up something as simple as a release date SO OFTEN? If they can't get it out on the day you say they can, shut up about the dates altogether. These are full, specially made for PSN, titles. Ok, I’ve kept you in suspense long enough, check out the list below. If the rest of the EU (and we're not really that keen on membership) wants special rules, fine, just give us the simple option in the UK of choosing to use the US instead of the UK store -- it is, after all, a global internet apparently. We sent our soldiers out to support the US when no-one else was interested, it's the same old story, now that's been decided we get treated like school kids. EU needs "special language packs", "special stores" (presumably to deal with all the different types of euro ?) when we know full well the only special thing about being this side of the Atlantic is that we get to pay "special" prices for less hardware than the US and pay more for the same software - when it's eventually allowed to dribble towards our shores under a thousand smirking caveats. US dollar is sucking at the moment, GBP is strong - how about a bit of priority? Also the store design is, without mincing words, very very sucky. It looks like the worst bits of the 70s (British 70s, you had quite a good 70s in the US) murky, threadbare and nothing on the shelves but a suspicion that even if there was large selection it'll rapidly become impossible to find stuff. Inconsistent design, terrible navigation, it's bloody web-page -- hardly very next generation ?? If it's just a stop-gap until Home is an all-singing and dancing virtual psn then fine, but either let people know that so they can make allowances or at least get a half-decent few pages up now that don't look so ... tatty. Everything else about the machine I think is great though. It would be nice if Sony had a bit more understanding of the UK market. Also, the "Virtua Tennis 3" & "Genji: Days of the Blade" [yeah,... I know] demos have kept my six year old entertained enough to promote these as purchases. So it shows the "system" works :) However, I would like to see some PS1 titles [just one would do so I can try out the new firmware for my PSP] added to the PlayStation Network Store, and perhaps an upcoming release history of when to expect new content online to download. An extra 'tab' perhaps to the right of the others, so that I don't have to keep seeing the same advert to keep downloading Tekken 5 at the special reduced price until 23 May, no, 23 June, whatever. Additionally, looking at the downloadable game content in the US [ http://www.us.playstation.com/PS3/Store/20001#tab=downloadablegames&p=1 ] where is all this stuff for the UK? ChampionShip Sprintâ„¢ Game Joust® Rampageâ„¢ World Tour Rampart® Gauntlet IIâ„¢ Mortal Kombat®II Wipeout® (for PS3â„¢/PSP®) 2Xtreme® (for PS3â„¢/PSP®) JetMoto® (for PS3â„¢/PSP®) Rally Crossâ„¢ (for PS3â„¢/PSP®) Destruction Derby (for PS3â„¢/PSP®) Jumping Flash!â„¢ (for PS3â„¢/PSP®) Medievil® (for PS3â„¢/PSP®) CoolBoarders® (for PSP®) Hot Shots Golf® 2 (for PSP®) Crash Bandicoot® (for PS3â„¢/PSP®) Syphon Filter® (for PS3â„¢/PSP®) Tekken® 2 (for PS3â„¢/PSP®) Cash Guns Chaosâ„¢ DLX I could go on & list all the game trailers, theatrical trailers, and game add-on downloads that the UK doesn't have too, but I'll let somebody have a rant about that! If the market leaders (Sony, Microsoft, & Nintendo, in no particular order) get the download technology & available catalogue up to scratch then there's no reason why online downloads cannot be the saviour of the industry. Less than a tenner a title to download to your consoles' hard drive(s) would reduce piracy & would mean increased sales, not only because of a reduced cost-per-unit to the consumer, but also because there is no need to shop around for the cheapest deal & wait for delivery by standard postal services. There is also no need to scour car boot sales for fake versions, or chip a console to play cheaper imported versions of the same title. The decision by Sony to allow all three regions (Japan, US, and Europe) to be able to play PS3 (and PSP) game titles from any other region without restriction is also a way forward… but also promotes the use of eBay & other online vendors in order to source a similar, if not the same, cheaper title from overseas. Whilst I'm here though, a suggestion for Sony: What I'd like to see is the ability to save games during demos & transfer them to the full commercial version… perhaps even with an incentive to do so… "cashback" either physical or virtual (in-game), or maybe the addition to a mailing list for future promotional games & associated mailouts. Thanks for listening. BFN, fp. I am extremely dissappointed in these developers and more-so with SCEA for not manageing better. How many dissapointed customers are there going to be? Not just that but how many times until people just walk over to Microsoft? After a lot of dissapointment, this is strike 1 for me. 2 more and I'm selling and moving to Microsoft. PATHETIC Where is the Motorstorm Update June 11th?
