This is such a slap in the face. True, the EU is always suffering these kind of disappointments, but at least in those other cases (usually) there is at least a half believable excuse - localisation, ratings boards, tax etc. In this case there is no such thing - it is clearly nothing more than an attempt to massage the American public, at the expense of an utterly taken for granted EU fanbase.

Notice the comparisons, even putting the EU lateness aside. In the US, Warhawk was released at midnight (and was announced to be so). Here there is no such announcement (the most anyone knows is a vague response to a question on this blog), and Warhawk is not released at midnight (who knows when it will be - no announcement). In the US an attractive countdown website existed, displaying exactly how much longer they had to wait for the game. Here there is no such thing.

There’s such a sense of ‘oh, you want it too then do you? Well alright I suppose, have it a few days later at some point when we get a spare moment. But keep supporting our business and giving us money, there’s a good continent’.

I’m usually a calm and collected, non-temperamental kinda guy but in this case, well… f*ck you, Sony.

I just want to point out to many of the yanks commenting (im looking at you obzy) theat an eu release is more than just in england…….. there are HUNDEREDS OF THOUSANDS of ps3 users in the entire continent and are severly pissed off at sonys lack of comital to bringing the best service to us……. hell, IRELAND has the largest per capita ps2 install base in the world and how does sony repay them? buy fucking up constantly!!!! sony!! i am ashamed of u!!!!!!!! the least u cud do is give us it at midnight like in america instead of waiting all day for it!!!!!!! get ur act together!!!!!!!

and that has want to do with this topic. Just so you know all new and repaired 360’s have vast improvements to them to stop the hardware problems.

btw - looking at the 360 and ps3 head on - ps3 is a beautifully well made piece of electronica that is whisper quiet, powerful and doesn’t overheat. The 360 is a rushed, glitchy, overheating nasty thing. I own both and love many games on both, but am disappointed with the terrible design of my 360. It just locked up again! Only way it won’t freeze when playing Bioshock is to point a freaking desk fan at it.

USA= massive market, UK = Diddy Market in comparison. Do the math - if I were Sony I would release in US 1st, as the repercussions of not letting that impatient nation have it 1st would greatly outweigh a handful of posts from English unhappy peeps.

and then we have the problem Warhawk can only be played under the account it got purchased on the PSN
meaning :
if you got multiple accounts (wife/kids) they cannot play the game in contrarity to all the other games…………..

Hey Threespeech, any chance you can ask Sony why they delayed Warhawk because Thursday is the update day? Because Thursday is US update day too, but they have the game.
