hey ppl must understand 2 things…..
singstar say that there are over 300 this also includes the songs in other languages..
and 2 when singstar gets the american release we will get a power load of american artsts showing up in the singstar stor

Agree completely. New disks are a good thing if they sell more games and increase the community. On the other hand I don’t want to buy new disks and hope that all that agree with me can be accomodated.

Chill out! If it turns out that it’s a new disk and we don’t get the features then I’m not going to lose any sleep over it, although I won’t buy it either and I’d pay for the features and songs I wanted if they were available.

I’m still of the opinion that Volume 2 isn’t a bad thing if either:

a) We can download the entire track listing plus harmony mode as a patch for Volume 1 at the same cost as the disc version

b) We can use the Volume 2 disc to put all the tracks on the HDD so we only have to use one disc.

So either system works (and keeps our very vocal community happier), but b) works for those without Net connections as well.

Anyway, I await to hear what Sony/London Studios has to say.

Well,
I sent my disc back to London Studios, along with a polite letter (seriously, I was polite, as difficult as it was).
I give up. Wired mics, audio lag, “300+ songs…oh we forgot to say that includes all countries and all languages…and took us months to do…erm and they are all distinctly NOT the type of..err..songs that work in a singalong party game”
I give up. And not like they care, but at least I have explained to them why.

Idiots. Wait till the US gets hold of this game. Our polite British nudging and winking over failed promises will turn into an all out massacre when it hits the US.

Thanks for looking into this Three Speech; There are many who really appreciate getting the official word from Sony pretty quickly on many issues and its unfortunate that you have to take the brunt of the dissatisfied customers ire.

I’m of the view that not everyone who has a PS3 has it hooked up online to download extra tracks, so packs like this are welcome, but if there are updates to the main game (such as the harmony mode), they should be available to the purchasers of the original game. I hope Sony agrees!

WHERE IS THE ANNOUNCEMENT FROM LONDON STUDIOS/SONY?
I am pig sick of these constant gaffs by these characters.
I call on you all to boycott all Singstar/Singstore and Sony products.
It is the only way they will listen.
