There was once a period when everbody deemed it OK to slag off the euro-PSN's incredibly slow uptake but now people are becoming sympathetic and going the other way. The PSN store is still rubbish! This isn't just because of delayed games that we should be getting at the same time as the U.S as I thought thats generally what technological progression meant, to me it's more about the trailers and free content. I think it's ridiculous that a large company like Sony isn't shoving trailers down our throats like the amazing new(ish) theatrical MGS4 trailer that I've had to watch in poor quality on youtube after having to frequently check for new trailers. I know that sounds lazy, which it is, as I've growin up being used to adverts forced upon me more than looking for them. I just don't get why one person or a small team do not have the job of simply contacting companies weekly and at least keeping up to date. I spent a lot of money on my PS3, I would have thought that their store would be the first source for all the latest news/trailers, but instead it's the last and feels almost out of touch, which is completely stupid. I don't know, I don't work for Sony, I do understand pricing issues for games and censorship etc, but with regard to trailers and the like, bumping it onto a euro server or whatever, sounds to me like a 5 minute job for one person and it just doesn't seem to be happening. Okay, the contented added per week may have an inconsistent quality level, with a handful of people grumbling about the new content every week, but I can't actually see where people are getting this standard from that it's all judged by. Maybe it's just me, maybe it's because I can remember gaming when the internet wasn't even an "underground" idea and online multi-player was a dream, but I'm just actually grateful that we have portals for online distribution like PSN. Cue the "Well with the state of it we might aswell not have a PSN and revert back to extra content only being available via disks we have to buy in shops!" Ton Capone, I agree with you one hundred percent. If they shut it, they can use the money saved to accelerate the EU approval of the DualShock3 release. It was quite funny to read that Howard Stronger called the PS3 launch "fairly catastrophic" recently, at a the D6 conference (http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=143722) The only thing I beg to differ on is that things are not any better for the PS3 right now (and anything related to it), than they were at the disastrous and late launch. Disappointing per usual.

Only took about 5 months to get here from the US release. Nice to see that full PSP games are being released over the PSN. A little bit pricey though considering the age of the two that are currently available. Medievil and Wipeout can both be found for £10 or less. Finally, Puzzle Fighter. Further point though… It would be interesting to see some statistics on whether the PS1 downloadable titles are being run directly from the PS3 or transferred to a PSP. I’m sure Sony must have done their research before offering this facility… but I don’t think I’ve even heard of anybody actively purchasing a PlayStation Store title to play on their handheld console.
