DC Comics is the name of the group though, as the actual DC comic brand is called DC, not DC Comics. VErtigo, Tokyo Pop etc also come under this DC Comics branding, but are no 'DC' comics, but they are owned by DC Comics. Confusing I know, but yeah. The 'Original' PS2 disc we had to re-buy by the time the Platinum series edition was released because the original, erm, 'Original' refused to play anymore [!]. The recent "LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures" (optimistically leaving the franchise open for more movies... only if Harrison Ford goes back into cryogenic hibernation like his character, Han Solo, did in "The Empire Strikes Back") title wasn't met with as much enthusiasm, probably because the young ‘uns were not familiar with the (three/four) movies at all; they all know the six "Star Wars" movies. LEGO Batman has so far been met with no enthusiasm whatsoever. I guess that the recent 'reboot' "Batman" movies have had higher certification ratings, and darker content (to now be like the original comic book stories), has meant that the family audience has been replaced by 35+ year old males trying to relive their youth under the impression they too can be Bruce Wayne by day, and a multi-millionaire playboy in a cowel, cape, and rubber undercrackers by night. (No, I haven't stayed up late to watch the dodgy European satellite channels) [ 1upgamers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=513 ] I'm not sure that a LEGO-themed Batman game is likely to sell enough quantities to the same audience, even with Catwoman & her motorised wiggle. Still, not long now until "Batman: Arkham Asylum" (developed by Rocksteady Studios & published by Eidos Interactive in conjunction with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment & DC Comics) is available for the PS3. Whilst I’m on the subject… Why did "Detective Comics" become "DC Comics"? How about a game of Repetitive Redundant Tautology instead? The Lego Star Wars stuff was much better. This game better be good, or there's no way I'll be buying the upcoming Lego Gary Glitter or Lego Little Rascals.
