So far a staggering 84,000 individual levels have been uploaded and more than 27 million level play throughs have been completed. We couldn’t be happier with the initial efforts from our community members; the variety and quality of some of the creations has been astounding. We’ve seen everything from great platform adventures, puzzles and quizzes through to stories and races. We have even had a wedding proposal created entirely in the game! I doubt most people go beyond the first half dozen pages… so aren’t the majority of these levels basically wasted? Or there’s the select by keyword which always seems to bring up the same group of levels no matter what you select (think that’s broken TBH because the levels it brings up most of the time don’t have the keyword that you selected). If there are going to be that many levels it needs an a-z view, preferably with some way of marking levels already visited. I guess the system Sony & MM are working to at the moment goes something like this: 1. A certain number of 'Grief Reports' are submitted for a level. Doubt it's just one. 2. Sony/MM remove the level and when they get the chance (they must have tons to go through) play through it to check for offending elements. 3. If it's deemed ok they can return it to the server, if not it gets the chop. Seems fair enough to me if that's how it's working, but they do need to contact the author somehow with an explanation really.
