1UP are running a very candid interview with (God Of War creator/creative director of Sony Santa Monica Studios) David Jaffe. They went to Sony’s San Diego offices to talk to him about the downloadable PS3 game Calling All Cars, but ended up with a much more far reaching interview, taking in future strategy and some very honestly delivered opinions.

The man is awesome. Luke, from 1up, is a pompous goon that only finds pleasure in tearing down others to make himself feel important. David Jaffee took it to him with the most respectful and forthright responses I’ve ever heard in an interview with a game developer. Great interview!

Yes Valve, i do speak to you.
your comment where disgusting and to be fair, i wouldn’t be surprised if a fat cheque from microsoft was behind those comments.
If ps3 is so hard for you to program for, then you should give up right now, because unless you didn’t check lately multicore processor is the future(ex :intelproduo).
And one more thing when you look what 1st generation ps3 titles look likes(lair, motorstorm and resistance) compares to 1st xbox360 titles it is fair to say ps3 is already one step ahead.
