For a good blast of insight into how stupidly real life-like GT-HD looks set to be, check out this vid. Some of the cornering sequences look particularly impressive, as a Mitsubishi Lancer gets given a right hammering.
This video had been put out to promote the fact that you can download a free one level demo of GT-HD from the PlayStation Store. Currently this is available in Japan and North America. We’re told by SCEUK that this demo should be available from launch date in the UK/Europe as well.

available from the launch date in europe etc…

I downloaded this demo over the Holidays and it looks even better than the footage. It’s some of the most realistic graphics I’ve ever seen in my life!

Sony,
and threespeech
Give us a exact date for “launchdate”
with 2.5 month to go it is march 2007
and i want a day, instead of “launchdate”
on IGN it is stated that it will be 30-march
the dude from sony said 3 march (which is on a saturday, and very unlikely, since no console ever released on a saturday)
so my 2 cents is hoping for 2 march,
giving sony a big boost for the financial yearending in the selling-profit
since 599 $ is 440 € and not 599 € = +26 % more profit in the EU per sold console compaired to the rest of the world
therefor a PS2 +7500€ investor for sony (games and 5 consoles) (since 3 broke down within 3 years) demand a date
Comment by Darkie — Jan 6, 2007 @ 2:13 pm
what is this,
threespeech is even removing posts from people who ask sony (and threespeech) exact dates…
a well,
as long as they have my 7500€ in for the PS2 hardware & games ,what could i expect ..

Does GT-HD support Force feed back ?
The rumors is spreading from gaming websites.
Can PS3 confirm or infirm this ???
If it is true, it will be a huge disappointement to every GT players

at least we don’t get as buggy PS3 in Europe “software wise”
it’s pretty good that the PS3 hardware has no serious problem yet at launch “like the diskcrack 360 :)”

#Bobo (question 8 )#
Ignore the rumours, we’ve spoken to PlayStation and they’ve assured us that GT HD will definitely be supporting the Logitech “Force Feedback” steering wheels.

this is aparrently official word from sony america that there will be NO force feedback in ANY games..as the games have been produced with the SIXAXIS in mind??
wot the hell is goin on??
Comment by seedaripper — Jan 8, 2007 @ 1:17 pm
or does it mean…it WILL support the wheel…just NO force feedback??
Comment by seedaripper — Jan 8, 2007 @ 1:18 pm
A better question is when will Sony release an adapter that will let us use our Dual Shock controllers on the PS3 for when we play our PS2 games that support force feedback and don’t support motion sensing?
