There’s been lots of excitement on this site about SingStar on the PS3, and as Phil Harrison mentioned at 3Rooms on Tuesday, the development of Home and the PlayStation network are going to propel this game’s significance to the next level. Watch out Simon Cowell!
Here’s some screens for you to take a look at:

In Australia there’s a official PS3 brochure which has SingStar as a 30 track Blu-Ray disk with HD Video.

You should make the screens clickable and make thumbnails. Should load faster and makes it easier to watch on full resolution.

Love the interface, if iTunes had a richer fullscreen interface designed for top spec hardware.. it might still not look as good.
The SingStar team have a blog over at IGN:

I wouldn’t mind seeing some screens with real people in (rather than pretty people in a perfect world where everyone can take decent photos).
All good though. Looking forward to some more solid screens and detailed breakdown of all the community functionality.
Can’t wait for this

I am willing to bet we will see the new HD Camera (Eyetoy 2?) coming out around the same time SingStar does for the PS3. It would just be icing on the cake for this game. Being able to record yourself and friends in HD and then put it up for people to see.
Does it make sense to everyone else also?

On Singstar there’s a section to post, watch, and comment on people’s video performances but is there another section for people who want to video chat about whatever like Youtube?

It’s interesting that this gen. of Playstation software has been more defined by Euro and American releases vs. Japanese releases. Resistance, Motorstorm, Fight Night 3, Def Jam Icon being some of the top rated games thus far for PS3, and Singstar drawing so much attention in the UK. Where are the good JPN games??
