According to GameSpot, Ubisoft have confirmed that Haze, the futuristic FPS developed by Free Radical, will currently be exclusive to the PlayStation 3. They said that currently only a PS3 version is in development and that they are “open to new partnerships” but at the moment they only plan to release it on the PS3.

Good news, I guess. Heres hoping that more titles do this as at the moment PS3 has next to nothing to make it better than 360. Losing GTA, Devil May Cry and Resident Evil was a massive blow in my opinion.

Such a good thing… Think xbox gans are very desapointed. Good for PS3, which haven’t got enough exclusives games yet.

Sorry, I mean : xbox fans*

It looks like an interesting game from the trailers, and I’ll aways give the chaps at Free Radical the benefit of the doubt as TS2 was one of my favourites for a long time.

More please. =)

It’s just another FPS. It won’t help the PS3, it won’t hurt the Xbox.

Where have you been? We knew this days ago! Stop playing warhawk and get back t work, lal

I’m unnerved by Haze - not really convinced as yet to it’s potential to shift PS3 units off the shelves, but then I guess time shall tell.

Lets hope this continues(TGS GUYs)

I think this might just be one of those timed exclusives… they’ll probably release it on other platforms later!
Comment by theFJK! — Sep 3, 2007 @ 4:07 pm
Precisely, before it was a timed exclusive, but now this is only for PS3… and for all the time ! No xbox version will come for 2008 or later. That’s what I understood.
Comment by Anduril59 — Sep 3, 2007 @ 4:53 pm
If only it mattered. I agree with the other comments in that it is just another FPS. Nothing special right now and it won’t sell anymore consoles than if it was not an exclusive.
Free Radical are definately better than this, we saw something special with the completely underrtaed second sight. Give us another one, give us something worth exclusivity.
Althought this has given the PS3 its 100th exclusive!

H.A.Z.E. is still very much an unknown quantity, so it’s difficult to get excited about this news.
If you’re into 1st/3rd person shooters, sports games or driving games, the Xbox 360 still has by far the best games: Bioshock, Gears of War, PGR3, Test Drive Unlimited, Forza 2… plus all of the EA sports games, Call of Duty games and Tom Clancy games have awful graphics and frame rate on the PS3.
I’m in the US on holiday right now and the prospect of picking up an Xbox 360 Premium (which now has an HDMI port) at only £179 from Best Buy (or an Elite for £222) is just too tempting.

good news for PS3…but not that bigger deal for 360…MS arent in dire need for a FPS title
Comment by metallicorphan — Sep 6, 2007 @ 1:04 am
it makes me laugh at Microsoft seeing as they paid ubi to join their Games for windows platform, and not going to release this one “priceless”.
Comment by mark — Sep 6, 2007 @ 6:23 pm
Yeah about the EA graphics on the PS3… How much you all wanna bet that EA was paid off by Microsoft to make shitty games for the PS3?? I’ll bet my life savings.. not much… but I’ll win your money!! Screw Microsoft!!! Because they’ll screw everyone of YOU!!!
Comment by JC — Sep 8, 2007 @ 1:41 am
Are you guys looking at the same game as me? Haze looks awesome. Gonna crap on Resistance/Warhawk from a great height.
