We have one of these puppies to give away, thanks to the kind people at SplitFish gameware. FragFX is a PlayStation 3 controller that gives PC-style gameplay on the PS3, doubling as an optimised mouse for PS Home and web navigation. It also sports a ‘Frag button’ that allows you to slow target movement down for better aim accuracy, comes with SIXAXIS motion control and supports all PS3 games. It’s yours for £44.99.
Hey, it’s yours for free actually, if you can answer the following question: when did Andrei Bogolyubsky, the 1st Grand Prince of Vladimir, die? Yeah, you read that right - that’s our question.
Email your answer to blog@threespeech.com and if you’re first out of the hat when we do the draw at midday on Friday, the FragFX is yours (be sure to put FragFX in the subject of your email and, soz to the rest, but this is for UK residents only).

Hello guys, i mailed you the correct answer and some corrections of your question (about Vladimir).
Comment by Nazargulov Mikhail — Jan 15, 2008 @ 6:49 pm
Oh, sorry my mistake: Vladimir is the name of town in the question. Not misprint of his father’s name Yuri Vladimirovich. Sorry again =)

Rubs lucky rabbit, because if it was just a foot, that rabbit just wasn’t very lucky.

UK only. Scandinavia next then? :O
How does sizaxis work with it then? You twist the right part of the controller?

@ 10 the Sixaxis tilt is in the “nunchuck” part of the controller (the bit with the directional pad).
You can either use it with the default sixaxis function built into the game or you can make your own by assigning it to another button (it is very affective to assign your grenade button to the motion in FPS games as you literally “throw” them, it’s a very satisfying Wii like movement).

@12
Idiot. I assume you aren’t uk based and are therefore bitter about not being able to win so thought you’d reduce everyone elses chance by ensuring hundreds of entries?
I hope your post is removed, along with your genitals
Comment by TheShirts — Jan 16, 2008 @ 9:38 am
@16: To be fair with google and wikipedia close by answering such questions tend to be fairly easy no matter what
Comment by Christian — Jan 16, 2008 @ 9:44 am
I know but at least that requires some kind of research, posting it here, especially given that he isn’t eligible, was just bitter
Comment by TheShirts — Jan 16, 2008 @ 9:57 am
It looks like something H R Giger would design, albeit without any naked metallic-skinned women urinating on each other.

@16 I’m not UK based, so leave my genitals please
Comment by Nazargulov Mikhail — Jan 16, 2008 @ 11:39 am
Blimey, big response to this one. Thanks people.
Comment by Three Speech — Jan 16, 2008 @ 12:27 pm
How did you come up with a question like that, sounds like the kind of question that comes up at our pub quiz!! Which I hasten to add we never win…
Comment by Terry — Jan 16, 2008 @ 1:04 pm
So you hold the left bit like you would a controller and use the mouse for looking around and shooting stuff, thats pretty cool.
Saying that I’ve only got one controller at the moment and my mate took me on at Tekken with the Guitar Hero guitar, he beat me. Enough said.
Comment by Terry — Jan 16, 2008 @ 1:10 pm
even the compettions are uk only. guess you should get your lazy asses up and release some games for the psn in europe. last i heard was, that everyday shooter and blast factor ar were pushed back to mid/end of february.
Comment by brits sucks — Jan 16, 2008 @ 1:27 pm

Entered!
Comment by $uperTed — Jan 16, 2008 @ 9:50 pm
That’s a point, I’ve never seen the wireless one sold in the UK. I have the wired version, if this is the wireless version I’d be tempted to enter…
Comment by Apnomis — Jan 16, 2008 @ 10:29 pm
Just done al ittle research and from what I can tell the wireless version isn’t sold in the UK. Not sure why but every site I looked at only had one and it was USB.
I hope this is the wireless one but it would seem unlikely unless it was sent over from the US
Comment by TheShirts — Jan 17, 2008 @ 9:42 am
@ All - The one on my desk has wires. Looks pretty good though.

OK… Residents! Right answer is:
At night with 28 for June, 29th, 1174 Andrei Bogolyubsky has been killed by Yakim Kuchkovich and twenty more conspirators.
Sorry for bad english.
