I’de be excited too! - first fully fledged sequel since GTA3 back in 2001!
Vice city was outstanding but san andreas was too big for its own good - hoping to see a nice medium with this installment

Ditto
San-An was great but you got drowned with it, and some parts of the storyline went on waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyy too long. Obviously number 4 is looking great, but from what ive heard about things like scale and story format, its sounding sensible and very clever. Well, as sensible as mass street shootouts can be.
I think your nice medium is on the way John

*books week off work*
i have waited for this for sooooooo long.
3 months to go
3 months to go
3 months
3 months
3 months for an unexplained delay due to distribution/production/technical problems…
i jest.
nice to see it gets a worldwide release ON THE SAME DAY! i also wonder if this so called exclusive downloadable content for the ex360 is only the stuff they couldn’t fit on the dvd version and the PS3 gets on it’s blu-ray as standard. makes perfect sense in my head anyways.
is it here yet
is it here yet
is it here yet?

To be the prophet of doom again, I bet this game turns out to be a massive let down.
It will be good but will just be more of the same we’ve had from previous GTA’s and not the ground breaker it is being hyped up to be.
If you want someone to blame for my attitude look at the developers who’ve hyped up bland rubbish in the past (i.e Ubisoft).

That is exactly what I want it to be. If they have learnt anything from San Andreas, don’t change the format. I want the same basic mission structure, just in a different city

Nice to see John Sketch reclaim his crown of being the first to post at the ThreeSpeech blogs because he’s bored at work.
Hip, hip…(you know the rest).
Over & Out.

The crucial problem with San An was that it didn’t have any Jan Hammer, Foreigner or Spandau Ballet on the soundtrack.

You’re right, there’s nothing quite like shooting random passers-by to the sounds of 80’s cheese.
That said, my favourite thing about San An was the radio station hosted by Chuck D.

Sorry, just come back from living on a desert island….
Is this game going to have any online elements a la. I quite fancy a shootout against my friends in a GTA world.
