The first review of Lost Planet, Capcoms frozen shooter for PS3, is up on the net via PS3 Addict who score the game a respectable 83%.
Lost Planet features a lengthy single-player campaign, as well as an impressive multiplayer mode in which you can go online and join 16 player battles. There are four modes of play and sixteen different stages. The multiplayer demo was released in Europe this week via the PSN.

Will it come packaged at a budget price?

From what I read a while back, I understood that this will be sold at around £20.
Not that I’ll be bothering with it personally, but still.

How much tripe is this? Anyone played the Xbox version? I keep hearing one side saying it’s an okay game, and then the other side ridiculing it. Mind you, I have a budget, and it’s pretty ruined at the moment with all the quality stuff coming out soon. GT get here now! GTA get here sooner! Killzone, where are you? This all between my already lovely software (apart from Unreal which I haven’t made my mind up about yet).
I’m sorry, but I’ve been spoilt with Warhawk, and Resistance, they rule this roost.

It going nowhere near my PS3 it uses a wasteful 5G install.
Sorry but that just to much drive space for me.

“I keep hearing one side saying it’s an okay game, and then the other side ridiculing it.” People are always going to have different opinions on games. There are some who think COD4 sucks. I for one think it’s great, but that’s my opinion.

Play the demo off the store and you will soon discover how ridiculously bad this game is.
He plods through snow and then when in a building still struggles on as if wading through sticky toffee pudding. Oh and the gameplay is absolutely nothing new. We’ve seen it all before ad nauseam.
It is utter garbage.

Truer words never spoken. Played a 3rd person FPS with vehicles and sluggish controls? Then congratulations! You’ve already played Lost Planet

I really regretted buying it for the other console, Got it out of the bargain bin and still regret wasting the money. The single player game is really bad. There is frustrating boss battles every 5 minutes to artificially extend its length, the characters and dialogue is the most intelligence insulting garbage you have ever sat through. The storyline is non existant which is why they demosd the multiplayer on PSN This game has none of the qualities you would associate with Capcom Rent it first if you are for some reason set on it, after 20 minutes with it you will not buy it. Not even worth £20.00. The game is flawed just wait till you get stuck in the animation loop when you get knocked down……. Really poor design on every level, except the graphics are nice here and there…I personally hate Lost Planet.

I can’t believe anyone is still talking about this game anyway….
As a port IT SUCKS
The fact that there’s hardly anything new SUCKS
The broken demo SUCKED
The multiplayer demo feels like an unoptimised pre-release version of the 360 game - and therefore SUCKS
That Capcom have produced this shortly after such stellar work on DMC4 - with the same engine, SUCKS
…and now we have single player slowdown on a huge scale… even with the retarded frame rate…. and that SUCKS

I have got to say, when i had the 360 it was a ok demo from what I remember, but then I changed for the awsome PS3 but this demo is slow, bad graphic and well not even worth talking about. they should of looked at cod4 on how to do on-line awsome.
