1. If two separate paths look connected, they are.
2. If a gap between two paths disappears from view and the paths then look connected, they are.
3. If one path seems to be above another, it is.
4. If a hole disappears from view, it does not exist.
5. If the mannequin jumps from a path, it will land on whatever lies beneath.

6. Is this on the PSN this week?
Comment by Nathaniel — Feb 13, 2008 @ 4:56 pm
Why are you even telling us this, threespeech? You know damn well that the EU will get it MONTHS after the rest of the world.
Comment by annoyed — Feb 13, 2008 @ 5:04 pm
Sure, but plenty of people enjoy a bit of advance news, hence running this.
Comment by Three Speech — Feb 13, 2008 @ 5:09 pm
It’s good fun, and NOT on the PSN this week no

This looks like such an awesome game. I love puzzlers like this that really twist your lemon and require totally lateral thinking. Bring this on
Comment by TheShirts — Feb 13, 2008 @ 5:14 pm
So, erm, am I allowed to ask when it might be available? I am? Excellent! When is this available please? And is there an option to invert the colours? Ha ha ha!

I concur with @1 @2 @6 - we could do with whatever ballback release dates and £££ are being banded around, plus I’m sure there are some youtube videos about I’ve seen. I’m a WANT WANT WANT on this it looks kewl and hopefully good for those 10 minute dive ins I get when my missus pauses the telly to take a phone call
Comment by Mr Jimmy — Feb 13, 2008 @ 5:28 pm
ballback? ball park - what was I thinking :O

Echochrome should be out in Q2 and there are some very nice videos out there.
Comment by Three Speech — Feb 13, 2008 @ 5:35 pm
@9…we heard that one before.
Comment by russ — Feb 13, 2008 @ 5:51 pm
Well that was worthwhile.
At least we get everyday shooter.
Comment by GodfatherObie — Feb 13, 2008 @ 5:54 pm

Oh. ThreeSoeech, I see you already answered.
“Echochrome should be out in Q2″
thanks!
Comment by Andronix — Feb 13, 2008 @ 6:17 pm
so simple rules yet they open a lot of gamplay possibilities
Comment by EViD — Feb 13, 2008 @ 7:01 pm
i still don’t get why anyone would want an old PC program like this thing on their PS3, and be expected to pay money for it….
i dunno, i guess i must be missing something *shrugs*
Comment by mobiletone — Feb 13, 2008 @ 7:28 pm
@2
yeah just like PixelJunk Monsters and Sky Diving, right?
@15
yes, you’re missing something
Comment by uber1337 — Feb 13, 2008 @ 8:27 pm
ThreeSpeech - just to clarify, when you say Q2 you are talking calendar year (i.e. Q2= April to June), yes?
Just checking, just in case you were referring to some corporate financial year that starts in April or something like that…

This doesn’t look that good to be honest, as googling OLE Coordinate System will give you essentially this game, only where you make your own ‘levels’, although there aren’t any objectives.
Comment by Alexsutton — Feb 13, 2008 @ 10:03 pm
I for one can’t wait to try this out
Comment by Liquidcalm — Feb 14, 2008 @ 9:22 am
Why not just play it now and for free on your PC, as it is free on the internet.
No doubt Sony will attempt to flog us this for upwards of £5.
Comment by Ton Capone — Feb 14, 2008 @ 9:38 am
this game looks so boring!
Comment by Paul — Feb 14, 2008 @ 10:15 am
@15, 19, 21:
This is a fun game and just cos it’s an old concept doesn’t stop it being great to play. It will have a unique spin on it and be changed enough to make it feel fresh.
Look at Portal. That is an amazing game even though the concept is just an update of Narbacular Drop (indeed many of the developers from that were brought in). Narbacular drop is a free download for PC, doesn’t stop people wanting to play portal does it.
Comment by TheShirts — Feb 14, 2008 @ 10:40 am
@ 23:
Yes, but Portal has nearly infinite times better graphics than ND, and an incredible storyline with pitch black humour. I’ll be very surprised if this game has anything even resembling a storyline.

The 6th Law of Ecochrome: If the price of Echochrome in UK is TWICE that of other territories, you know you’re being mugged.
Over & Out.
Comment by Zed Zee — Feb 17, 2008 @ 7:07 pm
To be fair, 1 and 2 are the same, as are 3 and 5 so there’s only really three laws.
