Couldn’t go home tonight without sharing the wealth on these. If you haven’t seen them elsewhere they are truly good!! Enjoy.

The last picture is wonderful !
I love this game, and i’ve just sold my jap version … now waiting for the PAL

I can only assume that they’ve stuck Daytona in there in an attempt to sell more copies in the U.S. Personally, I can’t stand oval racing.
But still… screens are lovely!

three settings per car A,B,C a la Tourist Trophy bike tuning.
what we need in the full GT game is level 4 turbo bolt ons
the tuning was damn good fun in gt4, was a big part of the game for me.
high speed ring - classic!!

i wasn’t sure about this game but these pics have got me very excited not sure if to download it for £25 and get it a day early on my hdd so i don’t need a disc… or to get it shipped for £18

@2 : The Daytona road circuit is also in there, and that, whilst not being the longest circuit on earth, is a cracking little track.

No amount of screenshot pushing will convince me that this demo is worth money.

@5 No amount of posting won’t convince me that your not a troll…
I was going to wait for GT5, but with the new additions in the western release, I’m seriously considering otherwise.

in the first screen, i see ZOLDER, isn’t that a circuit in Belgium?
Comment by Jan db — Mar 12, 2008 @ 8:45 pm
the features in this “demo” are equivalent to a lot of full racing games, with only the number of tracks being a negative. (Having said that, Motorstorm shipped with 8 tracks) and lack of damage.

I really hope that this game PLAYS much better than the GTHD demo which was absolutely awful. I mean, how the hell does a Ferrari spin off the road when it takes a corner at 20mph?
Comment by Cortez — Mar 13, 2008 @ 12:05 am
Jan db - well spotted. Zolder is an awesome track (and Belgium, yes). Doubt it’s in Prologue though…

Well I guess I’ll see a part of my country in the full GT5 =)
oh man, there are so many great race games this year (and to come) (just bought Burnout Paradise, which is also lot’s of fun =) it doens’t always have to be realistic hehe)

GT5 is going to kill graphically every single game that has ever been released. What Gears of War? What Crysis?
Comment by Nowaysaroundit — Mar 13, 2008 @ 8:32 am
Nice pics but what’s with the car in the first one? I know it’s a jag but why the jag-ed edges?
Comment by reakt — Mar 13, 2008 @ 9:51 am
@13
This is completely different to GTHD. That was based entirely on GT4 with polished up graphics. It was intended to be an interim game between 4 and 5 but they scrapped that idea and thus released GTHD for free.
GT5 (and prologue) is a completely different beast with physics rebuilt from the ground up, thus is will play very differently. I have the demo of Prologue from the Jap store a few months ago and the cars genuinely feel more real that GTHD (or GT4).
