6. The unreleased but well loved underground title ‘Thrill Kill’.

   Wu Tang: Taste the Pain used the same engine but didn’t quite compare to the gruesome awesomeness of Thrill Kill.

   MGS, Gran Turismo, Pa Rappa, Command & Conquer, Tomb Raider, Crash Team Racing, Destruction Derby - all favourites too.

15. As now cliché as it sounds my favorite game on the ps1 was FF7. Im sorry but it was just such an amazing experiance when i first played it!

    I also enjoyed these other games greatly:
    FF8
    Grand trusimo 1 (stil my most enjoyed GT game to date, 1000BHP skiyline… Yes please!)
    Tony hawks 2
    Ridge racer
    Crash bandicoot 1

18. Tough call, so I’ll give several :

    Wipeout 2097. Still my favorite racing game, imagine my stress level waiting for Wipeout HD!

    Castlevania : Symphony of the Night. Seemingly unremarkable, but everything this game does it does so well it is one of my cherished game experiences.

    FFTactics : Still the best T-RPG IMO, I did love the Vandal Hearts series too though it lacked some depth.

    Metal gear Solid. Well, does this need any comment?

    Blood Omen : Legacy of Kain. Excellent hack’n’slash, I loved the ambient. That would be cool to get on PSN, I’d love to re-play it on PSP.

23. front mission 3 : best turn based mech game ever! put it on the store NOW!
    final fantasy vii : my favorite of all the FF games, pure class.
    DOOM : it’s doom!!
    ace combat 3 : wheeeeeee, whooosh, chugga chugga chugga, fffrrrssssshhhh, swoop.
    everybodys golf : pure and simple fun, still have the disc version
    warhawk : cheesey cut scenes, terrible handling, bleak vector landscapes. classic ps1 gaming
    tony hawks 2 : first skating game that make me feel liek i had mad skillzorz
    ridge racer : riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiidge raaaaaaaaaaacer. most hardcore techno soundtrack ever! keep your wipeouts, this was it for me on the PSX i dread to think how much of my life i lost to that game

    if you’ve not played or bought a copy of Ridge Racer 7 on the PS3 i’d say pick up a cheap trade-in/ex-rental copy tomorrow. ace fun.

    The boss battles and cutscenes are just amazing.
