Keri Allan adds another legendary character to the Three Speech Top Trumps deck.
Yoshimitsu is one of only four Tekken characters to have appeared in every game in the series, (the others being Nina Williams, Paul Phoenix and Heihachi Mishima) giving him a place in the beat-‘em-up hall of fame.
Although he looks quite scary (In my opinion at least!) underneath all that armour beats a heart of gold, as he’s head of the Manji ninja clan, a Robin Hood-like organisation that steals from the corrupt and gives to the poor. You see, his original appearance in Tekken was due to the fact he entered the first King of Iron Fist tournament to help steal the competition’s prize money – all together now… Awwww!
Yoshi (not be to confused with a small annoying Nintendo character) has had a different look in every game he’s appeared in. Although his appearance at times has quite drastically changed, it’s the same man underneath, and he always carries – if not often uses – the same sword. In the latest games in the series this weapon has taken on the characteristics of a lightsaber; not to please Star Wars fans, but simply because it now glows with the power handed down by the clan’s ancestral leaders.
When it comes to fighting, Yoshi’s skill is all about speed and spinning, but his downfall is the fact he gets dizzy! Still, he’s a blast to play, with cool moves like his Pogo and Hover stances as well as his ability to self-heal and teleport. We’re also big fans of his unblockable Sword Stab move….
Many an hour we’ve whiled away on Tekken kicking ass with Yosh, but he wasn’t happy enough to stick solely to the Iron Fist tournament. He’s also featured in the Soul Calibur series of games as a secret character, and weirdly, he also appears in Anna Kournikova’s Smash Court Tennis!
But we leave you with sad news. There is a big divide in the gaming world: which Yoshimitsu is the best, Tekken or Soul Calibur? Some say Yosh has more personality in SC, and makes much better use of his sword. Others disagree saying that Tekken’s Yosh is stronger with a better selection of moves. So we put it out to the floor- which Yoshimitsu do you prefer and why?

Offtopic: I’m sure it is Heavy Rain
Ontopic: I prefe Tekkens Yoshi only because I’m better with his moveset and that’s where I played him first.

Can somebody tell me how this style of newspost is relevant to PlayStation 3, other than getting a couple of fanboys salivating?
You don’t see this sort of thing on the SCEA PlayStation.Blog, but then again, the US PS.Blog isn’t run by a bunch of PR hacks paid by Sony to do the dirty work…

Never could get into SC, but I always loved using him in Tekken. Definitely one of my top characters/fighters.

@3 [Phoenix2912]:
I reckon the game is called “Top Secret”. Just check all the quotes & see if “the answer is in the question”.
The consensus of opinion on PS3Forums.com is that it is “Tears Of Blood”:
[ http://www.ps3forums.com/showthread.php?t=125593 ]
Or, it could be “Terminator Salvation” (”I [won't] be back” in this one Arnold may have said, but ‘Bruce Wayne’ as John Connor!?! And Helena Bonham Carter as the lead villaIn, Serena)
Which reminds me… why no movie-video game tie-in for “The Dark Knight”?
Back on topic-ish…
Yoshimitsu versus Dark Vader in “Soul Calibur IV”… place your bets now…

@11 [Terry]:
If it spilt on him he’d go rusty.
Much like his moves these days… how old is this character?
