1. This add has been around for a little while now and it is an interesting angle to take. I prefer the Japanese one, it is more entertaining.

2. It’s not bad, interesting concept and shows some game footage (a rarity with PS3 ads of late) and actually dares to inform you of some of it’s features like 60-player online (informative ads are almost unheard of with SCEE - just look at this years PS3 ad campaign!).

   It’s definitely better than the Japanese one which is a complete joke, although it probably works for the Japanese market, but it doesn’t capture the tone of the game at all!

   However, the best R2 ad by far is the US ad, it has a boldness about it that harks back to the days when PlayStation averts were really good!!!

3. Not impressed with this advert or the American one. This one just looks stupid with bad compositing between real life and 3D aliens. And then we have the aliens who can’t shoot straight, yet in the game they can hit you all the time??

   The American one I felt was too religious and had nothing to do with the game, because where in the game do you even see characters like those in the advert??

   The best TV Spot for me has to be the Japanese one mainly because it was stupid and funny. I just love the bit at the end where the Girl KO’s the alien.
