As you’ll no doubt already be aware Gouken was originally Ryu and Ken’s teacher, although judging by this video he never really liked them that much. In the Streetfighter Manga series Gouken was killed by M.Bison (the M stands for ‘Mike’), Sagat and Vega. However, as far as the games go he’s alive, well and ready to lay down some wonderfully-named moves, including the “Flashing Space Strong Passage Wave” and the “Forbidden Rising Dragon Fist”.

He was killed by Vega, Sagat and Balrog to be fair, as the Japanese M. Bison is our Balrog, because they thought that Mike would sue.

or there is the other story were Gouken was actual killed by Akuma (Goki in Japan) because Ryu is the son of Akuma and Gouken tries to protect him form Akuma evil influence.
