The original game casts you in the role of a member of F.E.A.R. (First Encounter Assault Recon) and you are set against Alma, a supernatural, psychic (and frankly quite weird) little girl. It was a scare fest with amazing graphics and unbeatable thrills.
Here we can present you with some exciting new screens from the sequel, F.E.A.R 2: Project Origin. Scared? Who played the first game? Who’s ready to battle Alma again?
Click here for a pack shot of Alma. Make sure you’re behind the sofa when you do!

I wasn’t scared in FEAR at all, but I really enjoyed the game. I’ve got my eye on FEAR 2. Looks great so far!

Bargain Bin/Discount Purchase….
It’s not as if F.E.A.R. was a bad game…just that there only a finite amount of time available next to work….and within that time there just happen to be “other” titles which bide my tastes better.

So disappointed with F.E.A.R the e3 footage prior to launch made it look amazing… but it had some of the blandest graphics I have ever seen in a this gen shooter, but off-set by some of the best AI…
But considering that Monolith have moved on since then and have tweaked their tech and made Condemned 2 look fantastic…
If they give me the same level AI or better and Condemned 2 graphics (can’t tell from the screen shots need real time footage to judge better) and some scares thrown in.
I will be happy, will rent it first to see if its a keeper…

As this is a multi-platform game I’m hesitant to get interested in it, as I believe their lead platform is the 360.

Was not impressed with the first F.E.A.R. at all, was a blatant cash-in and to be honest it looked and played more like a PS2 game.
