If you check your diary you’ll see that there’s a little less that a month to go before Valentine’s Day, so it’s about time to start thinking about romantic gifts. Not sure what to buy? Well, as we all know, nothing says ‘I love you’ like Flower(s), and fortunately it looks like thatgamecompany’s ground-breaking, genre-making ‘petal sim’ will be out in time for the special day. Go on, show your PS3 you love it…
Check out Eurogamer’s hands-on for more on Flower.
Been hanging on for this release for quite a while….very very happy to see it coming out within a matter of weeks

Also been itching for Flower. I have a taste for titles that are unconventional. Day one purchase for me.
That Kaz interview is amazingly bad. His justification for having hard to programme hardware is gold plated asinine thinking. I am sure Factor 5 & Free Radical would agree.

I agree with what the article says about how many will attack this game because it dares to be different. I welcome anything that attempts to break new ground. I really enjoyed Flow (another game by thatgamecompany for those not in the know), I shall be getting this, provided its not at a stupid price.

I agree with some of that interview, the Wii is very much not in the same place as the PS3, the Wii’s target audience is very much for kids. As for his remarks about Microsoft, yes their consoles seem to have short life cycles (the first xbox was four years) but the simpler archtiecture has allowed more people to come onboard and develop for it. The big turn-off with 360 was the ring of death stuff, which I personally suffered from and lost all faith in them as a result. Sont has the ability to be great, it just needs to realise that the success of PS2 will not pull it through. more exclusives are needed its as simple as that.
