Looking for a new car? Well how about Citroen’s new PSP edition C-Crosser?
Yep, that’s right. Sony and Citroen have partnered up to create a sports utility vehicle that elegantly docks your PlayStation Portable into the back of the front headrest. The car’s Citroen logo is complimented with a sleek PSP badge of a similar size.
Don’t have a PSP? Well, buy a car for €33,990 and get a PSP, memory stick, games and bragging rights as a complimentary gift!

i can just about afford a new bike

I like the idea….but an SUV????? would’ve thought a long range vehicle - saloon/people carrier to be more PSPish

Yeah… I love the rear badge, as much as I loved the “CDi” (Compact Disc [Player] inside) stuck on the rear of the Vauxhall Omega advertising the fact to everyone who was so minded to relieve you of said dashboard-mounted equipment.
I suggest “PSP” in this instance may stand for “Please Steal Property”.
If you want something to charge &/or hold a PSP on a headrest so that your rear-seated bundles of joy are seen & not heard on long car journeys? Visit Argos (or other good retailers).
Larger equipment that can offer the facility to display larger versions of Universal Media Discs, called Digital Versatile Discs, or DVDs for short, are also available for any vehicle.
Don’t have a PSP? Well, buy one, a memory stick, and a few games for under £200 and brag how you have saved £33,800.
Credit Le Crunch.
Is the reason for the inclusion of the Sony PSP console anything to do with the fact that Japan’s Mitsubishi Motors Corporation assembles the C-Crosser (and the same vehicle re-badged as the Peugeot 4007) based on their own Outlander?
If you are interested in the Citroën model, ignore the two diesel engines & go with the more powerful 2.4 litre petrol engine.
Either way, I’ll be sticking with my 5.4 litre Chevrolet Suburban (we have as many PSP consoles in our household as it has US-sized beverage holders).

Neat holder, though. I’ve been thinking of getting the GPS receiver for my PSP. I like my PSP and the maps are relatively cheap. However, I haven’t seen one decent review of it yet. And I don’t like navigators in the first place. So maybe I should just stfu and drive my 1984 Mercedes-Benz 300GD like it was meant to be done; off-road with not fancy equipment … except for the cassette player, of course.

It’s like something from “Pimp my Ride”…. Only not as good!
They should have done a proper job of it just like the guys at West Coast Customs would have! I.e. they would mount a PSP in _both_ the front headrests. After that they’d stick one in the steering wheel; a couple in the roof lining and then two more in the rear bumper for added bling. Hell yeah! “Thanks SCE, for pimping my ride!”
